Wild/life-friendly gardening
WILDhabit is an exciting new project led by horticulturist Elloise Rosemond, dedicated to creating and maintaining climate-resilient gardens in urban spaces. Our mission is to craft outdoor sanctuaries that not only offer people an escape to nature but also provide vital habitats for local wildlife, boosting biodiversity across the city — one garden at a time.

Plant care – We implement seasonally appropriate pruning, use organic feed and pest and disease controls, and watering schedules where necessary.
Lawn care – Our lawn care includes mowing, overseeding, scarification, aeration, applying organic lawn feed, and laying alternative living lawns.
Soil cultivation – To keep your soil well cultivated we apply beneficial mulches, and stick to a no-dig approach to gardening leaving the experts - worms and fungal networks - to carry out their soil improvement work.
Planting – We can install plants, sow seeds and bulbs, and transplant existing garden planting, where appropriate.
Garden/Planting design – WILDhabit can provide garden design plans for small to medium sized gardens, and create planting plans for your garden beds.*
Maintenance plans – When you subscribe to ongoing garden maintenance with WILDhabit, we’ll create a customised plan to keep your garden thriving, with regular care and keen attention to your plants' health.
Project work – We can carry out short-term garden projects, like installing compost bins, water butts, habitat building, or other project/contracted work.*
*Please be advised that design services and project work are priced differently to maintenance services.
